Explosion protection measures and technical requirements for spark free electrical equipment
Release time:

The implementation of explosion-proof performance of spark free electrical equipment is closely related to the use of junction boxes, connectors, and the condition of internal wire connections. Improper handling of these parts can generate sparks or arcs during equipment operation, posing a risk of igniting explosive mixtures. Therefore, the connections of all components on the circuit of spark free electrical equipment, as well as the connections between wires, cables, and connectors, must be firm, safe, and reliable, and cannot cause loosening or rotation of cables or wires due to vibration or other reasons, resulting in overheating or electric sparks. A connector is a connecting structure composed of conductive screws, wiring bases, and other components. The connector should have good conductivity, without any edges or burrs that may damage the wire. It should not deform or rotate on its own during normal tightening, and insulation components should not be used to transmit pressure in the connector. For connectors connecting multiple wires, measures should be taken to prevent wire splitting before connecting. When using aluminum wires, copper aluminum transition joints should be used to prevent electrolytic corrosion at the contact area.
